WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A VOLUNTEER?
Volunteering at Our House will give you some insight into
addictions. You will receive an informal training in the "typical"
life of an addict or alcoholic and the choices they make.
The wondrous thing about working with Our House is getting
to know some of the clients and watching them change. You
will see addictive traits replaced by the ability to plan
and carry out those plans. You may be amazed at the differences
you see within six months.
We currently need volunteers to help with:
- FOOD PREPARATION.
- FUNDRAISING.
Bingos, Casinos and Special Event planning.
Our House does not receive regular government funding for
its programs. We are reliant on our own efforts to continue
our operations. We need volunteers to work Bingos and Casinos.
We are currently seeking donations to cover a number of areas.
