Lerena Greig

Lerena Greig has worked in the non-profit sector for over 14 years, specifically in the field of addiction and recovery. She has presented all over Alberta with her lived experience and advocates for change in the stigma of mental health and addiction. In 2019, she joined as a Director of the Board for Our House Addiction Recovery Centre. She is grateful to be a part of a team that supports, equips and empowers individuals to step out of their addiction and into their recovery. As Executive Director of Parents Empowering Parents (PEP) Society, Lerena oversees and implements the programs for PEP, an registered charity that supports, educates and provides hope to families who have a loved one struggling with addiction. In 2020, Lerena was appointed an advisor for the Alberta Health Ministry for designing and testing a pilot project, a digital overdose response app (DORS) and sits at various committees focused on addictions and mental health. Lerena is passionate about empowering families and individuals to take that step into recovery and break the cycle of addiction which aligns with Our House’s mission, vision and values.
